Pictograms for the safety requirements

The following pictograms will be used on our products, packagings or enclosing product notes and will support the directive on product safety¹⁾.

	Open and read the instructions		Read attached instructions before use
	Keep out of reach of children		Hold base of lamp when fitting, not bulb
	Do not touch with bare fingers		Do not touch with bare fingers
	No operation of lamps with scratched or damaged glass bulb		No operation allowed with broken outer envelope
	Lamps with operating position limitations - only cap-down to horizontal operation is permitted		No disposal of as household waste
	For indoor use only		Disconnect from power supply before re-lamping
	Disconnect electronic device from power supply before servicing		Switch off light before changing the lamp
	Self shielded lamp - can be operated in liminaires without protective shield		Operation only in luminaire installations with protective shield
	Non-dimming		Beware of temperature

	Protect against direct water contact		Dichroic-coated reflector lamps - use only in suitable installations
