Photometry

Our precise luminance meters are used for distance or attachment measurement for light sources of all kinds. This allows compliance with regulations to be checked for minimum or maximum brightness, to ensure the quality requirements for products with displays or luminaires, to determine the need for maintenance due to aging or to optimize the uniformity of illumination.

Our core competence lies in the testing of automotive light sources, e.g. headlight systems.

Color measuring camera

Our color measurement camera enables the complex evaluation of luminous and illuminated scenes using the image of a spatially resolved luminance distribution with simultaneous recording of a large number of interconnected measured quantities.

Result data:

  • Luminance distribution in a measurement image L (x, y)
  • Derived photometric parameters such as illuminance distribution E (x, y) and luminous intensity distribution function I (x, y)
  • Statistical data for direct further processing in calculation programs (for example EXCEL®, MatLAB®, LabVIEW®)

Our services

  • Implementation of vibration measurements, e.g. with test objects or with circumferentially rotating machines.
  • Analysis and evaluation of vibration loads

Goniometer

The goniometer allows precise angular alignment of objects to a fixed point above the center of the build-up area.

The photometer head is holding static and faces the test sample while the test sample rotates about the horizontal axis and the vertical axis to obtain light intensity and illuminance of the tested lamp or luminaires with up to 0.01 ° angular accuracy.

Our services:

  • Light distribution
  • Illuminance
  • T-test
  • Scanning test
  • Automatic targeting

Integrating sphere

The Ulbricht sphere is used as a light source to reach diffuse radiation from directed radiation or to collect the radiation of strongly divergent sources. This measures the luminous flux emitted by a light source.
